People Hate Nature More Than Ever

One great conflict is Man vs. Nature, but to hate it is irresponsible.

A new study shows a decline in outdoor activities and number of visits to state and national parks.

A great concern is people’s preference for TV, internet and video games and the lack of conservation of our most precious commodity.

Go out and see the world, because a sunset is a lot better than any TV show…except maybe Heroes.

The Coldest Place In The Universe

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Scientists discovered the coldest place in the universe can be found right here on Earth…in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge holds the record for lowest temperature: 810 trillionths of a degree F above absolute zero (0K= - 459.67°F, –273.15 °C).

Just to give you an idea of how cold that is the lowest natural temperature ever recorded on Earth is −89 °C (−131°F) and was recorded in 1983 at the Russian Vostok Station in Antarctica.

O.K. that probably doesn’t give you any idea, but lets just say it is frick’n cold.

The Next Generation Of Solar Energy

The next generation is now here.  Nanosolar is producing solar panels priced at $1 per watt.  That is cheaper than coal.  This means more homes can produce their own electricity and lower their carbon emissions.  It might mean less Nuclear reactors to power our cities, which is always a plus.  Thank you Nanosolar for making solar energy available cheaper…
