One great conflict is Man vs. Nature, but to hate it is irresponsible.
A new study shows a decline in outdoor activities and number of visits to state and national parks.
A great concern is people’s preference for TV, internet and video games and the lack of conservation of our most precious commodity.
Go out and see the world, because a sunset is a lot better than any TV show…except maybe Heroes.

Scientists discovered the coldest place in the universe can be found right here on Earth…in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge holds the record for lowest temperature: 810 trillionths of a degree F above absolute zero (0K= - 459.67°F, –273.15 °C).
Just to give you an idea of how cold that is the lowest natural temperature ever recorded on Earth is −89 °C (−131°F) and was recorded in 1983 at the Russian Vostok Station in Antarctica.
O.K. that probably doesn’t give you any idea, but lets just say it is frick’n cold.

State of the art glimpse 100 Million years into the past. Dubai’s City of Arabia is constructing its own Jurassic Park. This 500,000 sq. ft. park will feature 109 animatronic dinosaurs which will allow visitors to really ‘Walk with the Dinosaurs’.

The next generation is now here. Nanosolar is producing solar panels priced at $1 per watt. That is cheaper than coal. This means more homes can produce their own electricity and lower their carbon emissions. It might mean less Nuclear reactors to power our cities, which is always a plus. Thank you Nanosolar for making solar energy available cheaper…

Creates renewable energy R&D group and supports breakthrough technologies
Mountain View, Calif. (November 27, 2007) – Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) today announced a new strategic initiative to develop electricity from renewable energy sources that will be cheaper than electricity produced from coal. The newly created initiative, known as RE<C, will focus initially on advanced solar thermal power, wind power technologies, enhanced geothermal systems and other potential breakthrough technologies. RE<C is hiring engineers and energy experts to lead its research and development work, which will begin with a significant effort on solar thermal technology, and will also investigate enhanced geothermal systems and other areas. In 2008, Google expects to spend tens of millions on research and development and related investments in renewable energy. As part of its capital planning process, the company also anticipates investing hundreds of millions of dollars in breakthrough renewable energy projects which generate positive returns.

The MagLev Wind Turbine relies on magnets to suspend the turbine reducing friction. Its design and technology allow the wind turbine to produce more power and take up less space. Estimated cost for the strucure is $53 Million.
