The Stuntman Cometh
Well, well, well….
I’ve not been putting this off, necessarily, so much as I was waiting until I had what I felt was the “perfect” blog to start this whole shebang off. Realizing that waiting for that is kind of like how people will say that they won’t have children until they can afford one, I’ll just jump right in and reintroduce myself.
Whether you’re a long time peepazoid o’mine or a noob to my special brand of nonsense, here’s a taste of what you may encounter here:
- I love movies. I love to write about movies. I do it a lot. You will see. I don’t get to see brand new stuff as often as I’d like, but I typically spread the word on any new DVDs that I see.
- I’m possibly an even bigger music fan. I can’t say that I write about it all that much, simply because I have very broad but eclectic tastes and I honestly know very few people who share my musical inclinations. With a new forum I plan to talk about a larger variety of things than I did on my myspace blog so there could be an improvement made to this issue.
- I have a wider than average knowledge of general pop culture useless information. No, I’m not ashamed of this.
- I love all things horror. Movies, music, books, comics, imagery, iconography, you name it-I can dig it. Wait, no, I must make an exception for mainstream PG-13 horror movies. Hate it. Shit, but there’s plenty of time for talk about that later.
- I dig the hell out of comic books. Say what you will, I don’t care.
- I don’t talk about my personal life very much. I am married and have a son, you will hear mention of them (the wife is Ree’, the son is Damien. Take notes, you will be tested later) but I am a private person and won’t be sharing a lot of personal things here. This is more of an entertainment site anyway, you don’t want anything heavy killing the mood, right?
- I am a fucking moron.
So, that’s me. The site seems to be picking up speed and will probably be a pretty entertaining thing, I think. I’ll be back with a couple movie reviews in a day or two.
