World’s Largest Swimming Pool

The San Alfonso del Mar seawater pool is more than 1 Kilometer long, covers almost 20 acres, had a 115ft deep end and holds 2.5 million liters of water.  This make it the world’s largest swimming pool.  The pool is in the San Alfonso del Mar condo complex in Algarrobo, Chile.  To put it in perspective it is equivalent to 6,000 standard-size 8-meter long swimming pools.
