Farm Subsides Misuse - $1.3B to Non-Farmers
Apparently the government gives a lot of money for farm subsides to people who don’t even run farms. The subsides last for years even if the land has changed ownership. The new owners aren’t required to grow anything, but still receive payment. The total amount given to non-farm farms, $1.3 billion, accounts for nearly half of the nation’s agricultural subsidy system.
This where I am supposed to say the Government needs to be held accountable for fragrantly misusing taxpayers’ dollars…but I know no one in Washington is listening. (except for you NSA)
